    Planning for Change
    With Fred Becker
    May 13, 2008
    6pm - High School

Children from ages 12-18 go through the second most rapid social, emotional and physical changes of their lives.  This presentation provides parents with the information and skills they need to deal with their changing adolescent.  You will develop an understanding of what is happening to your child and what you can do to help prepare your child socially/emotionally for the real world.  We plan for their education but not for their social/emotional development.

    Learn about:

    1. Physical changes and their effects on children

    2. Environmental changes in school and community

    3. Social changes-exposure, pressure and outcomes

    4. Brain development changes in frontal lobes
